after 0000ga (15/32"), they are generally measured in fracrtions of an inch...

1/2"
9/16"
5/8"
11/16"
3/4"
13/16"
7/8"
15/16"
1"

etc etc etc. they are also commonly measured in mm, use a conversion table to work it out. both my lobes are currently at 5/8"(16mm)

i also have a conch piercing with a 16ga ring in it (use to be 10ga), and both my nipples pierced with 16ga barbells...

I need to get me some more tattoos ^_^

hah yeah. i didnt know there was a 000. 00 isnt all that much bigger than 0. im kind of bummed... because they are 18 bucks and i should have went for a 000 instead. ho-hum.

And assume that it was all in vain

after a 00 gauge, which is 9.2mm, comes the following:
0 gauge - 8.2mm
2 gauge - 6.5mm
4 gauge - 5.1mm
6 gauge - 4.1mm
8 gauge - 3.2mm
the higher the number, the less big the gauge.
if you're looking for a bigger gauge, there is 000 [11.1mm].
after that i'm not sure what they are called. probably 0000?
nb: the measurements are only approximations.
